CAO Gold Maduro was released as part of the CAO ‘Concept Series’ of cigars. The blend is incredibly rich, offering competing nuances of cocoa and earth with an enjoyable, smooth finish. CAO has become a “go-to” brand for many aficionados. Their cigars are not only well constructed and consistent, but they have become known for their new concepts in cigar packaging and manufacturing: trendy ideas that appeal to a whole new generation of enthusiasts. However, traditional enthusiasts also prefer CAO due to their use of top-notch, premium tobaccos incorporated into every cigar. CAO has released multiple, highly rated blends and has been one of the fastest growing manufacturers in the world! Packaged in a limited edition, beautifully built CAO Gold humidor, these cigars were aged at least three years before their release in 2005. The wrapper is a jet black, oily, maduro leaf fermented to perfection. This tasty wrapper conceals a hearty mixture of Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos grown exclusively for CAO. Gold Maduro is a medium-bodied work of art, engulfing the palate with thick smoke while allowing the palate to bask in a complexity of flavors including pepper, espresso, and some hints of chocolate. Each special edition humidor comes equipped with 105 CAO Gold Maduro cigars taken directly from CAO’s original batch released in 2005 and is encased with an elegant, black velvet bag. Only 200 humidors were created for this release as each is individually marked with a gold plate on the inside of the lid. |
